Pop star Katy Perry has offered to babysit Beyonce's first baby. Beyonce, 29, made the surprise announcement as she debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards recently. She told the press: "I have a surprise!" And the Teenage Dream hitmaker was quick to take to her Twitter page to offer Beyonce and her rapper husband Jay-Z help. Katy Perry has revealed she loves a pink blanket as she appears on the cover of Cosmopolitan Australia magazine. Katy, 26, says she takes the blanket on tour with her because it reminds her of home. She said, "I have a little pink blanket that I snuggle into at night and I have a dressing gown from home. "That's me at my most comfortable and private on the bus. "No-one should ever see me in that state. "I am not trying to ruin anyone's idea or dreams of me!" She also said she sometimes takes one of her and husband Russell Brand's pet cats in first class with her when she flies. "That was a pretty weird request, to put a cat on a plane and bring her across. "She goes first class, but under the seat. "She doesn't get her own seat," she said.

Katy Reveals to Reports that her Marriage with Russell Brand in in Trouble

Singer Katy Perry has hit out at reports that her marriage to Russell Brand is in trouble. The 26-year-old star married Brand, 36, in a ceremony in India in October last year and recent reports claimed the pair were spending less and less time together and considering a trial separation. However Perry later took to her Twitter page to put the rumors to rest. She wrote: "Just cause we don't flaunt our relationship doesn't mean there's something wrong w/it. Singer Katy Perry is "so excited" about her nine nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards. The 26 year-old is up for Video of the Year, Best Female Video for Firework, Best Pop Video for Last Friday Night as well as Best Collaboration. She has also been nominated for Best Art Direction, Best Direction, Best Editing and Best Special Effects as well as Best Cinematography for Teenage Dream. She said to MTV News: "I have nine nominations! Nine? I thought that was a typo or something! Oh my god, really? That's the most nominations I've ever gotten for anything."
